Sorry for the small picture but this beehive was in my parents tree in their back yard. The beehive was huge!! Probably 3 feet long and a foot wide. Scary!! I hate bees. I'm not sure how my parents didn't notice the beehive when it was smaller. They found out about the beehive when my cat was starring at it and my parents went out the see what she was looking at, good thing she didn't climb up to attack the bees. haha. The tree isn't that big it's a small/medium size. My dad was saying it took half a day to build the hive acording to the bee people (I'm not sure what they're called) said when they came over to take out the hive for their honey business. They also said that the bees were making a queens nest. It was pretty interesting. But I would hate to have that in my yard.
